Web hosting provider Globat.com buys man's neck for advertising
Web hosting provider Globat.com, the world leader in Performance Web Hosting(TM), has purchased advertising space on Robert Reames's neck for an undisclosed amount. The seller, a 27 years old man, is the father of three young girls who provide the drive and inspiration behind Robert's tattoo idea. His wife, Jammie, is disabled and the family's finances have been tight. After seeing previous Globat.com promotions, Robert contacted Globat.com and made his case that a permanent tattoo advertisement might help the family raise enough money to buy a car.
"Being able to travel is important for a young family," said Ben R. Neumann, President and CEO of Globat.com. "Without access to a car, Robert's family is forced to pay high prices for necessities at local convenience stores and have a limited range of travel, especially with three young children. Globat.com is delighted to support Robert and we're sure he'll have a lot of fun answering questions about his tattoo!"
"I will wear Globat's tattoo as a badge of honor, and as a representation of the distance I will go, and the commitment I am willing to make for the ones I love. My family and I are very happy, and truly grateful to the entire Globat family for this opportunity," said the seller, Robert Reames, III.
This action has attracted media attention worldwide to Globat.com, which has recently launched a wave of very unique sponsorships and events such as a hamburger eating challenge and a sponsored birth under the banner of "Defying Gravity," with the ultimate goal to launch at least one such special event in each of the 50 states.
